Apple Blossoms!

23 Apr Apple Blossoms!

Apples Blossoms have arrived!  Not only is this a very breathtaking process to witness but it is a simple reminder that apple harvest is only a few months away. This is an important step in the life process of an apple tree. To become apples, the blooms must be cross-pollinated by honeybees. Once this has occurred, then the blooms fall off and make way for the fruit to develop. Our employees then begin to process of thinning the apples. Thinning is the process of removing a selection of fruit from your trees while the fruit is still small.
