An industry first and our own proprietary variety. This apple is bright yellow in color with russeting around the stem and a distinctively crunchy texture, with a sweet yet tangy flavor. Opals are non-GMO certified and won’t brown after cutting. This special apple gem is also the apple that gives back.  When you buy Opal Apple, a percentage of sales helps fund youth-led nonprofits from across the country.

Apple Storage Tips:

Unless you plan to cook or eat your apples within a week, don’t leave them on the kitchen counter.

The ideal storage temperature is 30 to 35 degrees F. with 90 to 95 percent relative humidity. If you don’t have a lot of apples, the refrigerator is a good option.

Place them in the crisper drawer in a plastic bag with holes in it or cover the apples with a damp paper towel.
